ibis Styles East Perth is proud to be one of the first hotels in Perth to receive Ecotourism Certification. Sustainability remains a key focus across our operations, with a strong emphasis on responsible management and reducing environmental impact.

As part of the Accor Group, we recognise the importance of minimising our ecological footprint while continuing to enhance the guest experience.

Energy and resource conservation

We have proudly achieved a 5 NABERS Energy rating and a 4.5 NABERS Water rating. We have also implemented an energy management plan to help minimise consumption across the property.

• Energy efficient LED lighting activated by motion sensors
• HVAC systems optimised for both efficiency and guest comfort
• A towel and linen reuse program that guests are encouraged to take part in, to help conserve water and energy
• Sustainable procurement practices that prioritise locally sourced products, to help reduce carbon emissions

Environmental education and awareness

We conduct regular staff training to support sustainable practices across the property. This helps empower our team to guide guests who are interested in making more eco-conscious choices during their stay.

Local conservation and community

We actively support local conservation efforts, including initiatives like Plant for the Planet and the WA Beach Clean Up.
